Fred is responsible for the sourcing of land, planning strategy and community engagement. Fred studied property valuation and law at Cass Business School before qualifying as a chartered surveyor at Knight Frank in 2012. He co-founded Hathor Property in 2014 and Pennybar in 2024
Mark leads the commercial, technical and development coordination. He was formerly commercial director for several companies within the Berkeley Group. In 2002 he participated in a management buyout (MBO) of Bewley Homes and was a Main Board Director until 2012 with responsibility for their commercial, construction and technical departments. After leaving Bewley helped to set up Cleanslate. Mark is also one of the founding partners of Pennybar.
Having held board level positions in private and listed companies, Brian is a founding partner of Pennybar and responsible for the group’s finances. Having grown up within a family of house builders, Brian qualified as a Quantity Surveyor. He was fortunate enough to travel around the world advising on major multi-million and even billion pound projects. After selling his previous business he enjoyed a short sabbatical where he sailed around the world but was drawn back to development after he returned to the UK and set up Cleanslate.
Henry’s roles include development appraisals, as well as project design and management. Henry began his career at Hamptons International in the Residential Development team before moving to Savills. In 2014 he co-founded Hathor Property and is also a founding partner of Pennybar.
