Fiddlers Green is an example of rural regeneration. Formerly the site was an abandoned mushroom farm which consisted of numerous run-down buildings and polytunnels. The site was cleared of significant amounts of asbestos and compost.

The development consisted of 11 three, four, five and six-bedroom properties. The family homes are bordered by woods to one side and a cricket green to another.

The architectural-designed new homes reflect the buildings of the existing village with clay tiles and timber windows. The high specification homes also showcased handmade oak staircases, granite top designer kitchens and energy efficient air source heat pumps.
